I had a brief encounter with the TYLT Capio NFC Enabled Universal Smatphone Car Mount, and i think it is amazing. Especially with my Nokia Lumia 920. I have tried a lot of Car Mounts ever since i got my Lumia 920 and none worked for me. During the week end i had the chance to try the TYLT Capio and it blew my mind away. I think its the perfect companion to the Lumia 920 for use in the car.

I have been blessed for the second time with a beautiful baby girl, born two weeks ago and in good health. Thats the main reason I’ve been away from the blog for a while. A good friend of mine, My Nokia Lumia 920 was a great companion during this happy event and I can assure you that the Camera on the Lumia was in overdrive. I really experienced the power of the Lumia 920 camera and I am very satisfied. So if you are expecting good news go ahead and grab a Lumia 920, and trust me you wont regret it.

Nokia HERE Maps update adds LiveSight for Windows phone 8
HERE Maps with LiveSight has landed and allows you to spot exactly where you’re going just by looking. Within HERE Maps simply tap the LiveSight icon and pan around. LiveSight reveals shops, restaurants and your favourite places as virtual signs on buildings on the screen of your Nokia Lumia running Windows Phone 8.
We’ve already received the HERE Maps version 3.3.354.8 update on our Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 720 and have downloaded the 7MB file and got it up and running with ease. Sadly, this update doesn’t work with the Nokia Lumia 520.
Once you’ve got the update up and running you’ll find that you can tap on your current location and a small eye will appear next to it, tap on it and you’ll be taken into the LiveSight mode. This uses the same map information but you’ll find the map information narrowed down to your local environs.
Asphalt 7: Heat Nokia Lumia 920 versus Nokia Lumia 520 speed test
Asphalt 7 Heat is the latest Xbox Live game to hit Windows Phone 8 and is not only one of the best looking racing games out there, it’s one of the best games full stop. Even if you’re a casual fan of racing games you’ll find something to love in Asphalt 7 Heat.
So, we took the Nokia Lumia 920, which is the flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone right now and the Nokia Lumia 520 the entry-level model and compared when running the frankly brilliant Asphalt 7: Heat.
When Asphalt 7: Heat first launched it could only be played on Windows Phone 8 with 1GB of RAM, which meant only the Nokia Lumia 920 and Nokia Lumia 820 could play the game. However, recently an Asphalt 7 update hit that meant the game could be played on just 512MB.

The Nokia Lumia 520 may have a budget price tag but you’ll find that unlike budget Android devices, for example, it runs the latest version of Windows Phone 8. This means you get a premium user experience at a great budget price.
Top 50 Xbox Live games for your Nokia Lumia Windows Phone
When it comes to performance, the Nokia Lumia 520 runs on a 1GHz dual-core processor and is backed by 512MB of RAM. This means it can run Windows Phone 8 with no sign of lag. However, some people have suggested it would be a better gaming smartphone if it came with 1GB of RAM.

Nokia Lumia 720 video test hands-on
The Nokia Lumia 720 is the mid-range addition to the Windows Phone 8 family and is also the slimmest and sleekest.
The Nokia Lumia 720 comes with a 6.7-Megapixel camera that is capable of handling 720p video capture at up to 30fps (frames per second). This means you get a great experience on what is considered a mid-range smartphone.
We took to the streets of Brighton to check out a little street theatre that was being accompanied by a saxophonist (as well as a baby crying in the background), while for our indoors test we checked out the skateboarders at the recent Nokia Lumia 925 launch.

Get ready for what may be the best photos and videos you’ve taken with a smartphone. The Nokia Lumia 920 brings Optical Image Stabilization, 8 MP PureView technology, and incredible photo and video software—all to Windows Phone 8.
What happens when you give freerunning World Champion Ryan Doyle and traceur (that’s the official title for a male parkour practitioner) Will Sutton a couple of Nokia Lumia 920s to play with? You get a great way to put the smartphone’s video capturing capabilities through its paces.
Twelve Nokia Lumia 920s, each filming from a different perspective, were used to create the action-packed video. For the aerial shots one of the smartphones was strapped on to a radio controlled Cinestar Octocopter (keep an eye out for it in the video). The rest of the video was filmed using a combination of handheld, chest and head cam mounted phones – each shooting in 1080p HD.
The result is clear. With the best low-light performance in a smartphone to date, and the added benefit of Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS), the Nokia Lumia 920 makes it easy to capture all the action – day or night. Find out more here: http://nokia.ly/10TU0Zn
